Whopper /whopper junior for me and Dianne has the Hawaiian chicken .
Whopper kicks Big mac's arse :) but BK here doesn't do coffee.
Its funny what gives you a lift , I spent 5 months in hospital after a bike crash , some of the Nurses would bring me KFC or BK on their way in for their shift, ( I paid for it ) dunno just why but felt much happier
I hope your Dad enjoyed his burger Mike :)

Ok, super late update on this. He's had the targeted radiation treatments a while ago, and I took him to some follow ups this week. Another scan, mri I think, Monday and follow up with the doctor today. All of the spots have shrunk, there are a couple new ones, but they are so tiny the doctor isn't recommending any treatment yet, and another follow up is scheduled for about six weeks from now to check brain and lungs again.

Good news so far.

My MIL has a type of leukemia and is doing some chemo for last couple months. Today is her 89th birthday. She is trying to decide whether to continue treatment or not. Seems to responding well but she hates it.

Only she can make that decision...... Quality of life is a biggy. What would happen if she stopped, would she downhill quickly? Or would it be a gradual process. I guess she needs to weigh everything....
