Are you talking tools to use while on the water or at home. If you say on the water, just what repairs do you have in mind since on the water repairs will generally require parts that you won't have with you. For the boat, a prop nut wrench, pliers, screwdrivers, and a basic wrench set is about all you'll have need for. At home you will need a more extensive tool kit. Home Depot has a very nice kit for about 40 bucks that has sockets, screwdrivers, box cutter, allen wrenches, adjustable wrench, pliers, etc in a nice case. You should also have a multitester (volt-ohmeter) or test light to help locate electrical gremlins and a compression tester to keep and eye on the condition of the engine over time.
