Can someone tell me how many ft. lbs. of torque is correct for the exhaust manifold to cylinder head bolts and exhaust mainfold to elbow bolts on a 97' 5.7l mercruiser ? Thanks.
Ok another chapter of Manual #17 lists the torque of both as 25...I'd go with 25, 5 ft pounds in cast Iron isn't much, in fact you might want to go to 15 all around then step it up to 25 all around. I like to 2 stage my torque proceedures but thats just me.
