Now its MY off season, but in the garage for winter. I need to "touch up" a spot on my hull. What paint should I use ? It is the tan color hull on a 2000 Fisherman. Thanks for any tips..

Re: Touch up paint

From my experience, most larger Lund dealers have it in stock. Otherwise you can call Lund directly and get the PPG paint code number from them and have it mixed up yourself. Lund told me though that the paint won't match perfectly due to fading if the boat has seen sun light. Crazy, I know, since every lake I'm on has a roof on it. The Quicksilver color on my boat was real close. I can tell the difference, but no one else seems to be able to.

Just FYI... A can of touch-up paint costs around $20 at the dealer. -Ken

I just got two rattle cans of paint for my LUND. I first got the PPG codes from LUND dealer. THen I ordered the paint from carpaintonline.com. Cost $21 per can with $11 shipping.
