I'm going to look at a 18' Holiday with a 120/mercruiser. It's on a tandem axle trailer. The owner says the floor isnt soaked or anyhting like that. My bumper on my 1994 1/2 ton Chevy says 500 lb tounge weight/5000 lb total. I'm pretty sure the boat and trailer dont weight 5000 lb but I have no idea on the tounge weight.

Can anyone give me a good guess?

The tounge weight should be +/- 150 to 200 lbs - not sure what your weightlifting skills are but it should be really either barely liftable or take two people. Your truck can take a little extra - not enough tongue weight = fishtailing - which is bad......

That boat + trailer weighs around 1800-2000 lbs.

I have the same boat!
