Live in Texas which has a 65' tow limit. I know I have seen boats towed behind 5th wheels but I can't remember seeing on towed behind a tongue pull. My rig is an 18' Dutchman pulled with a 2004 Dodge diesel and I want to pull a aprox. 3,000lb boat & trailer. If anyone is doing this? I could use some advice.

check with Texas, every state has a different law, also if traveling, check before the states you are going to visit.

Thanks
Texas is good to 65 feet from what I understand and I don't plan on getting out of Texas.

You need to check with the trailer manufacturer to make sure the Dutchman trailer frame can stand the weight of the boat trailer and it's load.
