Re: traailer help

It is possible to mount a heavy duty wheel/ball caster on the bottom/back of your trailer to help you in and out of your driveway. I've seen large motor homes/buses with these. Harbor Freight has a variety of these wheel/ball type casters. Might be a solution to your low trailer problem. Good Luck!

yes sir right next door, that does not sound like a bad idea, take the trailer to mexico and trade it for a 2006 f-250

If you scrape the bottom you'll lose paint and maybe make a rust spot. If you hit REAL Hard you might bend the back of the trailer. If you add something that makes it even lower to the ground, you might hit it even harder!

I have a low slung sportscar and sometimes my trailer hitch hits the pavement on a steep incline. The drawbar is covered with a decorative plastic cap. I can't tell you how many new caps I've had to buy. I solved the problem by not going up sharp inclines (use an alternate entry location), and when it my own driveway and I have no choice, I go up at an angle and problem solved.
