Trailer rental

Looking to rent a boat trailer that is in or around New Orleans,La.Need it for 2-3 days,trailering a 31'er,weight needs to be 15,000 lbs cap.

That may be a tough one.<br /><br />You might try calling someone in the boat moving business. Any Marina should be able to put you onto them. That's who they call when a big boat needs to be moved from one body of water to another.

Yep,I did that.Boat movers whated $2000 to move my boat 200 miles.I can buy a trailer for $4200.Thats a shame for the price they asked. <br /> One other thing,I do have the truck to pull it!

If I was goign to move that kind of boat, I'd want a couple grand too, I bet their Insurance is crazy high.<br /><br />Do you have a dealer that you've spent some $ with in the past? Maybe they would have one to rent to you..... Or find the guy that has it for sale for $4k, offer him $500 to rent it with a written contract that holds him not liable and you will cover any damages to protect his assett. As your vehicle insurnace covers you while you are towing in most states.
