I was wondering if anyone knows where to get trailer side guides for my boat I have a 1999 22ft trophy w/a with escort trailer single axle . I have tried eSmith side guides and they were to short I have call ezloader and they wanted 700 dollars for a pair way to much for me . Any help would be great thanks

I've seen some here on iBoats... or you could check out *********. .... Well, I'd edit but apparently iBoats doesn't want me mentioning the other site. Google it bud.

How tall do you need? Also how deep are you backing in? Sturdy Built has a set that is 21" tall that can be mounted above or below the trailer frame to adjust them to you boat, but 21" should be enough, how high up the side do you want to go?

I saw a guy down at Lake Cumberland this last weekend with add-on guides (EZ-loader trailer). He mentioned that he got the mounts and post hardware at the O place and bought the covers for the posts (some kind of nylon looking fabric) elsewhere online. The posts were at least 4 feet.

Well, 60” is five feet, so follow the link I posted above.

Okay, I am thinking sideboard guide ons, not guideposts. Guide posts, I make myself and then I can custom fit them to the boat and trailer I am running.

I agree if EZ wants $700 then they have lost their minds.

I made my own for my trailer.
I welded 2” ID vertical receiver tube onto the trailer frame so that I can put in 2” OD tubes that have the side rails attached. This way I can remove a pin and remove them if I need to.

M2HB... I found a pair of side rails to clamp onto my Heritage trailer while searching for this post. I'd seen the tall, single pole guides, but hadn't seen an add-on set of rails.

Having the rails as a guide is nice... but I'm honestly more interested in using them as a step to climb into the boat :).

Yea that's one of the reasons why I want them and other is when iam trying to load my boat other boats dont slow down by the docks and throw big waves its really hard to load up the boat.
