Re: Trailer Teardown, Repaint and Rebuild

I so want to rebuild my trailer. Mostly just blast and paint. But, getting the boat off and storing it somewhere is the struggle. I already have the new LED lights, wiring and brake system.

We were in the same boat [pun intended] awhile back. We rented a slip from a slip owner directly, The marina itself was rather expensive. We just posted a note on the marinas bulletin board, paid $100.00 for 2 weeks as the owners had gone down river for vacation. Got the trailer work done and enjoyed having the boat slipped for two weeks.

Trailer has been completed. Test drive went fine. No issues found. Loaded boat and got the bunks and rollers adjusted for the boat. Lights were wired today and I LOVE the LED lights that I put on it. I am very happy with the way it turned out.

Fantastic job! I'm doing this same job right now, and am using almost the same color finish-wise. What a great inspiration! THANKS!
