Hey all,

Anyone know of a proper trailrable cover for a 1960 Cruiser's Inc. Commander (17')? I've been looking around and see alot of 16'-6" and 17'-6" with much wider beams (90" or so) but my beams only around 78"-80".

Any help would...help! Thanks.

You really need a custom made to order cover. The tailor has to know you want it to stand up to highway speed. Those multifit covers aren't worth a damn unless you get lucky. They get puddles and gaps in them. They are cheaper, but if they don't do the job you didn't actually save, know what I mean?
I ordered a color matched custom mooring type cover from a company (in Indiana I think). It cost $450 as I recall. And I had to install my own snaps to make it tight. My boat is old and from a bigger manufacturer so they had patterns.
I don't know if it's OK to post that stuff on the forums. IF i am out of line the moderator can edit me I guess. The place is Angola Boat Cover, their # is 260-665-9913. If the # gets removed you can IM me for their number, it's still in my cell phone.
