transducer cable adapter

I have a Lowrance Elite 4x-hdi fishfnder right now. I just ordered a Garmin 741xs and want to use the transducer cable from the fishfinder on the 741xs. The 741xs uses 8-pin connections. The transducer cable has 5 pins but room for 7 pins. Is there an adapter I could get that would make the fishfinder cable work on the 741xs?

Never mind. I decided to plunk some $ down and get a new transducer for the new Garmin 741xs.
