Swapped my Eagle Fishelite over from one boat to another, New boat had a transducer siliconed to the bottom of the hull, at the stern. The glass had been scraped and the mounting was pretty secure. All my other transducers have been stern mounted, but was thinking of shooting thru the hull. The Eagle says to use 2 part epoxy to hold it instead of the silicone. No problem, but if it doesn't work, can it be removed if I use the epoxy? Or can I just silicone it like the other one was?? Any advantage or disadvantage either way? As always, thanks, guys.
