Transom is glassed in....

Temp was decent today, went ahead and glassed the transom in. I'll probably spend some time tomorrow cutting out stringers. Love that sticky itchy fun....<br /><br />

Jason, Nice job! Next time, if you trim the overhanging layup with a sharp utility knife just before the resin cures hard (sometime after the time it gels but before it turns rock hard), you will save yourself time trimming up the excess later. Nice clean professional looking job. :)

Kenbo, I did trim the excess after it kicked, with a utility knife. I took the pic immediatly after I finished rolling it out. After trimming the eccess, I tarped it with a space heater, and it was cured by morning. The temp was in the low 60s, and I knew it would drop to the forties overnight. That little space heater made it quite warm, mayber in the 80s or higher, so it had a chance to cure properly. Now it is hard as a rock. I got nothing done yesterday, I am sick as a dog.....
