I just bought a whack of parts from i boats. I need a bolt kit to mount my transom assembly including the lower alum bolt/ anode kit. I couldn't find them on i boats... any one know if they have them and I can't find them? The drive is an MC1.
Thanks
Alan

^^^ That's the correct P/N, but you're going to have a cow when you hear the price, around $40

I picked up my set off Ebay for $20, after waiting awhile for a reasonably pried set to pop up.

Re: Transom plate bolt kit

I hope I ordered the correct item. I ordered from ebasic power the anode bolt kit.

I also ordered the new engine mount bolts with fibre washer and spring etc. Can I use SS threaded rod to make up studs for the rest of the transom plate fasteners or are they also OEM only?
Thanks
Alan

Get the right studs, NOT all thread rod.

OKey dokey , is this Mercruiser only item? If so is there a good online source for them?
Thanks,

And to think back in the days of 100 miles to a parts dealer we would just take some rod stock, cut and thread it to the correct size.

Re: Transom plate bolt kit

Thank you for the help, I will order up the appropriate fasteners tonight. Hopefully I don't forget something and the install goes smoothly.
