i have a 1991 wellcraft center console . i had transom redone a few weeks ago. im beginning to notice some things on it that makes me wonder if the job was done properly. First, i noticed where there is a small gap at one of the holes in the transom. Also i noticed that it doesnt look like the entire transom was removed. there looks to be a little left from the old transom on the left and right sides at very bottom. It looks like they started the transom rebuild right above the drain tube. the transom however is coated with several layers of glass and is solid. it is the original 1 1/2 thickness. Do you think these flaws is enough to make a problem later own. i was told that the old transom was removed, old wood remanants to. Then a layer of chopped matt was spryed and then wood ,glass, etc. then it was gelcoated all over. what u guys think/
