Trany stuck??? maybe?

I got a 1972, 350 I/O with an OMC outdrive. I had to pull the engine and the transmission to give it some love... anyways... all the bolts are off from the bell housing and the transmission will not come apart from the engine. i can get a small gap, that is it.............

Anyone got any ideas?????

your supose to pull the drive before the engine. then on back of the flywheel housing of the motot pull out the 2 bolts that bolt it down to the transom plate
