What are the numbers you are using to convert AC meter readings to peak meter readings?

Meter set to AC scale. Multiply reading taken by 1.414 and that usually puts you in the ballpark.

Re: TRENT peak reading meter

I have plenty of meters, and adapters. I will show this to my son in law and get him to make me one, he works for a contractor that contracts for the Air Force and does electrontic work. I wish I could put all of the OMC wiring diagrams I have on a CD and have them appear on screen like your schematics, then I could trace the wires without a hand held glass or reading glasses, Those have to be the best I have every seen. Those schematics also remind me of the 4x4 flip charts with the hyd diagrams for the K loaders, I sometime worked on when I was in the Air Force.

FYI, the peak voltage will be about 2.4V more than is reading on the DC voltmeter. In addition use a high quality capacitor.

Mike
