tri hull on flat trailer

I am purchasing a project tri hull and i was wondering if anyone has put one of these boats on a flat trailer. It is a 17' Mark Twain. I am basically transporting from blocks to blocks. I have read of people doing it but I can't find anywhere telling how they have done this.

If you're talking about a flatbed trailer, just to move it from one place to another, you can do it. Load it on, using tires off the rim to cushion and level it. Borrow some junk tires from a tire shop. Tie the thing down securely and go for it. It won't break.

For regular trailering, though, you'll need a boat trailer.

thanks, that was the original plan i just didn't know if it would work and wanted others opinions before doing it
