Just need to know the length and diameter of the alternator belt?

Also I have a leak...again....Last fall I replaced all of the belows. This year after being in the boat for the third time I have a leak. All the belows look to be in good shape. but its leaking somewhere.
Its beyond dripping and is into the trickling stage.
Its comming in below the two cross members on the driver side?
Would this be the shifter cable boot?
I can't get my head down there far enough to see where exactly its leaking. Any tips on how to see way down there?
Also if it is the shifter cable boot is there a way to replace it without pulling the drive off?

Flashlights and mirrors are your best bet for finding the leak.

Along with the cable bellows, look for a leak where the exhaust pipe mounts to the transom shield, and where the trim hoses comes thru the bottom of the transom shield.

I don't know that off of the top of my head, but it should be easy to look up......
Maybe someone else knows.....
You will want to get a spare to install over the motor mount in case you have a belt failure at sea......;)

Mine snapped on the way in after a Bass Tournament. :) I was looking at the dock a couple kilometeres away praying my battery would hold up and bring me home. Thankfully it did. A spare is a great idea I would not have bought one. Thanks.
