tried once then nothing

Last Wednesday I finally got boat tagged and was ready to go mushroom hunting. After many test runs using a horse tank we set off for river. Got motor lowered and boat dumped. Turned key and motor turned over strong n almost took off so I primed the gas and went back to key and nothing can't even get motor to raise. Battery is brand new n fully charged in line fuse is good. Terminals and connectors are all clean. Where do I go to now. Still have a few more days in season for mushrooms thank you for any help

Check inside the cowling for a ckt breaker. It is probably tripped. As mentioned, you will need to post what kind of motor you have, i.e. brand, HP, Year and model if known. Otherwise, we would all be second guessing each other. Just in case you are not familiar what ckt bkrs looks like here's a pic. To reset it press in that little black or red tab on its side. If this does not correct the problem, check and double check the large black wire ground on engine block. Visual is not good enough, you have to disconnect, clean until shiny (both mating surfaces) and reconnect.
