I have a tilt switch on the shifter at the console and a up/down tilt switch on the side on the motor. How come I can only tilt down the motor from the shifter, but i can tilt up and down from motor switch? Is this normal or there is a problem with the switch on the shifter?
Also, when I lift the motor up, fluid leaks from the top of the cyliner where the shaft push the motor up.
The plastic O-ring seal looks worn. Do they sell part for this, Is it easy to replace?

I know nothing about boats and motors. Please help me out
Thanks in advance!

Yeah. Be sure and read the instructions for your engine. Some need to tilted all the way up, some need a support. Don' try it 'til ya know for sure.

c/6
Hooty
