you should use 30w non detergent motor oil. iso32 is technically superior but '89 pumps used the 1/8" gears and your system may buck if the fluid is too thin. It takes about 1 pint to completely fill a new system. About 10oz stays in rams and about 6oz in the resevoir.

I am Using the oildyne system, is 30W No det. Going to work?

for oildyne match existing fluid. Factory default was ATF.
If existing fluid is red then use Automatic Transmission Fluid. If existing fluid is honey then use ISO32 hydraulic oil or sterndrive power trim fluid (from marine dealer).

Unless you clean and flush both pumps and rams then you need to match existing fluid. ATF and oil do not mix properly. If system has been cleaned and flushed then ISO32 is best.
