Trim goes down but won't come up

I have a 92 hurricane fundeck with. 5.0 mercruiser v8 motor and alpha one outdrive my problem is the out drive will go down but not up and at first I had a bad battery in there and when I did try to bring the outdrive up it tried to kill the engine like it was pulling too much juice so the following week I put my car battery in it and tried seeing if it will go up without killing the engine and it won't do nothing with the trim button or the trailor up button but will still go down I did find a fuse able link by the pump which was blown and I changed that and it still won't work it yet I'm getting power to both switches any suggestions is there a sylinoid or could the pump be bad. ???

Since the trailer or up button is working, my first thought is you have a blue/white wire with a bad connection or a bad relay. Note the connector in the below pic. There has been many occasions when the connector goes bad and it needs replaced. Here is a link to wiring and troubleshooting guide for the trim system

ok so do you know if this diagram is the exact one for my boat cause I see theres two different solenoid one for up and one for downb so do you think the up solenoid is bad my boat is a 1992 hurricane fundeck with the 5.0 mercruiser and alpha one drive cause I know when I first jump started the boat and took trhe cables off with the bad battery everytime you tried raising the lower unit up it was trying to shut the engine off like the pump was pulling too much current and killing the engine but I hooked a good battey up and now it wont do anything and that 20 amp fuse was blown but I changed that and still wont do anything but go down

If the motor runs going down , you have a good ground to start with. The green motor wire is the down circuit and the blue motor wire is the up circuit.
Take a jumper from the + battery and touch the blue motor wire to see if the motor will run and go up with the drive.. report back with the results

ok ill do that and if it does go up does that mean theres a bad connection or is the solenoid bad

if the motor runs with the jumper to the blue wire, the motor is good. solenoid could be bad contacts, bad coil, loose ground wire, broken harness wire, corroded 3 wire plug at the pump .

If you don't fully understand this, don't do it.
Take the jumper still from the battery and touch the small lug on the solenoid with the small blue wire. this should operate the relay and cause the motor to spin.
Yes= broken wire No= bad solenoid or solenoid contacts
