Trim guage not working.

Hello Guys,
It has been some time since I've posted a question. Just got power back after Sandy's mess here in NJ. I hope you all are well.

I've replaced my trim senders (sierra kit) and it all works great I even got the arms to extend in total 21 3/4 inches just like rec in manual. (Old trims senders allowed for 26 inches to extend ) However, my trim guage doesn't work at all. Confused, it stays on down position. Any ideas? I triple checked and whatever I was connecting is correctly done.

Take the trim sender off the gimbal ring and turn the inner section until the gauge starts moving. Then set it in the right place and fit it back to the gimbal. Make sure of course that you have the gauge sender connected up, not the limit switch...
