Trim Guage

Can anyone tell me how to fix my trim guage? The guage is getting power and the wires running back to the engine are ok. I know very little on this subject, I think the problem is at the outdrive it just seems like it not getting any signal. Any Ideas would really help. Thanks

your sender probably is bad. it's a round, black, looks like a hockey puck, about the size of half-dollar coin maybe a bit bigger. have two wires, black goes to ground, brown goes to the engine. it's cheap and very simple to replace, give that a shot see if it fix your problem.

Thanks so much boatin bob,and gonefishie. I not used to hearing cheap and very simple to replace. Did not know boats had anything that was cheap and very simple to replace.
