This is a External Trim motor it will go down but not up just started today,i have crossed it over at cylenoid and can get it to trim up where do i go from here Thanks

Test solenoids with voltmeter....check ALL connections for corrosion, etc.

Those PTT units have a trim limit switch that stops upward trim when the motor is ready to overtrim. The switches break, and when that happens, it won't trim up at all, because no power gets to up solenoid.

Check out the purple and blue wires in the PTT harness. They should run to the trim limit switch on the starboard PTT bracket. You can jumper the trim limit sw wires together in the harness, to restore trim up capability, if the switch is bad.
