Just dis-assembled my trim/tilt motor, and found SERIOUS rust/corrosion inside the case. Cleaned it all up, but the armature wouldn't fit. Seems as though one the magnets had been pushed inward toward the center of the case due to rust scaling, binding the motor...hence no operation. Am now looking for a used motor, or ideas on re-gluing old magnet back in. Money is scarce, time and sweat is not. Any ideas are welcome!! Thanks<br /><br />Michael

It might be worth a try to use JB Weld to replace the magnet. That stuff is fairly strong, and impervious to heat.<br />Outside of replacing it, I see no alternatives.
