So when I pulled the outdrive and bell housing off, I also installed OEM trim position sensors. Hooked them all up( assume correctly) as the one set of wires had a male and a female ( by solenoid pumps) and the other 2 males ( by dist cap). When I attempt to adjust, the gauge doesnt move. It did previously. I have the sensors on properly...Limit on Port (left side when in drivers seat and sender on starboard, right side when in driver seat..Curious if anyone ever experienced this.

did you align the index marks on the units?

I didnt see any ! I have the instructions and it says to put in full down and align index on LIMIT switch, which is on the port side and has the metal contacts and plastic when you take cover off. - opened position sensor on starboard and its a white disc. I'll have to check it again with better lighting. Although as I was wrapping up for the night, went to turn off ignition and pushed the whole ignition switch through the hole on dash. The threaded part broke at the base, now i need a new switch. Assume and 3 position switch will work? One thing after another.

yeah I have the documentation that shows and outlines all that but i must not be with it, not seeing index marks. I'll give it another shot when my heads clear, thanks.

OMG im a fool! I found the mark ! lol its on the BACK of the unit that goes into the hinge pin cavity! I was taking off the 4 screws looking on the "cap" side! I got it all adjusted and trim limit stops it at 20 3/4 " now !
