Trim...Sloooow droop?

I have a 1989 130 and the trim was dropping down slowly overnight. On a hunch I replaced all the o rings and seals on all the internal valves. Lots of fun! It seemed to be holding fine for a couple of months and now it has developed a slow droop. It will take about a week to drop right down. I have opened the manual valve and run the pump up and down and retightened with no improvement. Some would say just live with it, but if I can fix it I will.
What do you think, do I need to do the cylinder o rings? I didn't have the special tool to open them is why I didn't do them in the first place. Is it possible it is just the trim cylinder and not the tilt? Any experience in this realm?

Likely it is intenal unless there is visible evidence of leakage. The most common cause is wear in the housing where the up down valve slides and won't seal properly. Not aware of a solution except to change out the trim unit.
