three cylinders - three carbs. Those carbs need to be synchronized. If they have idle mixture screws they need to be properly adjusted. Running the correct plugs? Heat range change requires a different plug. Application charts describe this. Run the engine and if it stalls, pull the plugs and see what they look like. Wet with fuel says rich mixture. There is no float valve in the carburetor. There is a float and there is an inlet needle and seat. You said carbs were cleaned but how thoroughly. If all you did was spray something into the throats of the carb you wasted your money. Problems with carbs are internal. Is timing set right? Does the engine smoke excessively when idling. Is the tach accurate. Does the engine actually SOUND like it is idling at 1000, 600, 700 or ????. A trolling plate won't fix an obvious engine problem.
