My 1994 225 Yamaha Saltwater Series is a real problem re-starting after the motor is used for about 15 minutes and turned off. No problems with initial start, one crank and it goes.
When I attempt re-start, the ignition is cranking and I have to play with the throttle to get it going. The throttle is almost full forward before it slowly and painfully starts. It takes me 5 or 6 tries. It's getting worse. Once started, it purrs. Troubleshooting I've done: cleaned plugs, changed one leaky fuel pump, and changed out several leaky gas lines.
I've got full towing insurance coverage but really don't want to use it, especially with wife and kids onboard. Standing-by for your suggestions..thanks..Oko
