thinkin of buying turbo three blade 21p for my mckee with 175 currently running 21p old sst 48 mph at 5600 runnin low cav in water 1 inch
any one runnin one or info on this prop please chime in there high would like lower cost alternative my motor is 175 crossflow with xp heads and boysens
will pull 5800

There are several Turbo 3 blade props. For the moment we'll assume the prop is a standard Turbo I 14 1/4 x 21. If so, that prop is about a step up from the SST II (we'll further assume you have an SST II, not an SST I). It has good lift, most folks compare it to a second generation OMC Raker (not the Raker II).

As we discussed, there's only so much that's going to happen with that hull design. If it were me, I'd sure give the T-1 a try. A lot depends on the condition of each prop and if either or both props have been reworked before. Assuming both are in good shape and neither has been reworked, I'd expect some improvement. I would not expect a huge improvement. If you do get a huge improvement, that's a bonus.

thanks d my prop is old sst its wore thin and the prop guy wouldnt work on it
i have my tabs know havent put them on. my boat guy said that the t1 would show great improvement over my prop its cleen and 200 $ hes good guy 30 years in buisness bos propellar .got 5inach set back manual jackplate
not going to put it on ,will;runit with the tabs and get gps with old prop
and rpm .then will make decision on new prop,what props are good idont care
but am trying to find something that will help rehuubed merc
trying to stay in the 200 range what reasonable prop s do ya suggest i might try

If your SST is the older SST I and is worn, and the T1 is in good shape, yes - I think you'll see a great improvement. If it's worn to the point they won't work on it anymore, you're making a good choice.

thanks d ran 52 today with old prop no tabs,will be tabbing and propping .
one at a time thanks for all your help over the last year or so
