Twin I/O Alignment

I'm wondering about the I/O alignment on my twin screw boat. When the steering wheel is in the straight forward position, both drives look like they are not quite straight. The port one looks as though it is steering to the right just a bit, and the starboard one looks as though it is to the left slightly. In other words, the two drives look as though they should be a bit further away from one another, so they are straight back and even.

Is this normal? Will the boat handle better or worse like this? I have not had the boat in the water yet to tell if it needs adjustment.

Thanks,

Ayuh,... Boats, like autos need abit of toe-in to keep any slop outa the linkages to track properly...
The steering wheel has very little to do with Any of it though..

Normal.

The setup centers the thrust just a bit. When underway, both drives are also going to want to straighten themselves just a bit, just like front wheels on a car that have slight 'toe in' are gonna want to straighten out a bit.

If you start out with them dead straight, they don't stay that way under load.
