two hot cylinders

1961 evinrude model 50927 75 HP<br />the two starboard cylinders run quite a bit hotter than the port pair. motor has a new waterpump. is this normal ? if not, what's wrong ?<br />Hot indicator not yet rewired after much wiring work. Thanks.

I have a similar motor that does the same thing...port side 100-120 degrees, stbd side 140-160 degrees. My good buddy who was a Evinrude mechanic in those years says that was normal...so, I am also interested to see if there is a fix for that...just a Thought
