First time poster, I have been looking around, and can't figure out what type of boat I am looking for. Its like a hybrid pontoon boat? with a fiberglass haul instead of the the pontoons, basically same width and everything. Can someone help me out and identifying what those types of boats are called? Thanks a lot!!

No, its real wide and I guess you would say its a v-bottom or something??? I just always think of them as hybrid pontoon, without the pontoons?...but thanks for trying

Nope...they are really new, as I haven't seen any older boats like this...within the past couple years. They have like a canopy, and lots of seating around. This is frustrating trying to figure out...thanks, and keep trying

Wait for the boat shows in the winter months. Not only will everyone trot out their newest and best, but you'll get a good price like I did last year. A $23,000 2006 model for $16000. I am really glad I waited and found just what I wanted.

Sweet...I guess they are deck boats!!! Thanks for all the help. I am trying to get my Dad on the ball to get one this winter so we have it next summer at the beach house. I'll have to take him to a boat show this winter :D

The one on top is an Eliminator 27 Fundeck, they are mega bucks, made in CA.

The one on the Bottom is a Hallett 260 even more mega bucks, also made in CA.

Both are custom, made to order, although Eliminator has some dealers that may have boats in stock . . . Where do you boat?

Pretty much in the North East, Thousand Island area in NY/Canada, Susq. River in PA, Lake Raystown...one of the biggest man made lakes, and also down in OCMD...

I think a big boat like that would be nice for having a bunch of people...but I gotta get my Dad on the ball.
