Those people aren't only on the east coast, they have spread all the way to California. I was testing my new/old boat out and found out in only went in reverse. Since I wasn't very good at driving a boat backwards I asked a Jet Skier coming in if he could grab a hold of the bow and idle me over to the trailer I had at the ramp. He looked at me like I was from another planet. He then said "This is a racing Jet Ski, It doesn't work like that". I learned how to drive that boat in reverse real quick that day, and got a little wet putting it on the trailer. Maybe Seattle Joe lived in southern California first...

Hello all, I'm new to boating and to your forum. Had to jump in here. Its great to see the immediate distaste that the members have shown toward this immature type of behavior. I just hope that when (I wish I could say "if") I make an innocent mistake or run into trouble that one of you are around to assist rather than Seattle Joe.

I'd be willing to bet that Seattle Joe is no longer around, at least not under that user name. We'll have to look for new members from Seattle. Besides, do you blame him for not wanting to respond; he probably thinks we all hate him. Oh well, they come and they go.
