Re: UH OH- What not to let the kids do-True story
Seems to me someone has a "issue" with cops as is evident by the references to police misconduct.

Every profession or career path has issues with contact with the authorities. Some more, some less. Lawyers, doctors, laborers, blue collar, white collar, no collar, etc.
Are cops supposed to be pillars of the community? I suppose so, but they also have the same life issues as everyone else and more so. When was the last time you took the dead baby from the mothers arms that died from SIDS? When was the last time you responded to the horrific car crash and picked up body parts, including a head detached from a body, the head belonging to a 13 year old?
When was the last time you went to the neighbors house due to the smell and you havent seen your neighbor in a week or so, oh.... its also 100 degrees outside and high humidity... they dont have air conditioning. The black looking bloated blob in the bedroom was once your neighbor. When the medical examiners office moves the body it explodes. Real nice....
When was the last time you shot someone, fought someone, chased someone, enforcing the laws of your city, state, country?

The job has its own unique rewards and stressors. Are their bad apples in law enforcement, you bet.
Do we termintate and prosecute them when discovered, you bet...

Dont judge me by someone elses tarnished badge, judge me by my actions and the dedication to "the job" serving my community and country.
