Our 2002 Suzuki DF50 unexpectedly started rev limiting to 3,000 RPM, when it normally only does it when revving in neutral.
We checked the neutral safety switch, and found it was not bad. We then proceeded to do the computer reboot/reset procedure, by pushing in & out on the engine cutoff switch (the one with the lanyard) five times with ignition key ON, and sure enough, the uncalled for 3,000 RPM rev limited problem went away. :happy::happy::happy:
