Uniden Marine VHF radio wiring

I was given an older Uniden marine VHF radio. It has no power cord, but the receptacle has 3 pins. One would be power, one would be ground, and the third...? And which would be which? It's old, and it was free, but I don't want to fry it playing the odds...

You can pick up a new 3 pin plug at Radio Shack for a few bucks.
