Copper crush washer might work for a resuviour, on a pressure line I'd go with an O-ring. Compression of the ring should help hold from vibrating loose.

Know how ya feel,I snapped 2 bolts myself, one side mount and one anode bolt. Why were you fiddling with the test plug??You have a test gauge?Did you get that ram cup out?Just took me 2 days to get one trim cap off lol.Now working on the other one. Then I'm almost ready for the water.

well I put a stanless steel lockwasher then a washer then a small rubber washer and got it real tight till the lock washer sealed.
Then I worked the trim and /tilt up and down many times to create pressure.
I didnt see or feel a drop.
I think and hope this fixed it,I know one thing, its not going to back out by itself.
Thanks... for all of the advice and if it does leak past the rubber seal later,(hope not) I will try other procedures you guys have suggested.

I was attempting to take out the test plug to fush the system
And no I didn't get the cup out:eek:,It would'nt come out.I even used 120 psi to blow it out,I go tired of fooling with it.I said to myself,if its that tight ,I'm sure the Oring is fine.

Two days to get the a cap off..
