I running a 1972 Evinrude 25 hp on a 1972 Terry bass and was looking to upgrade prop with something that has a little more pep/secondary prop.
(Pic below similar to mine)
According to my service manual I'm running a 3 blade 9 dia x 10 pitch.
I'm not sure if this would be considered a speed prop or a power prop? I'm totally new to props so I have no clue on what exactly I should be looking at and the different options that are available for my motor.
If I was looking to get more speed what pitch should I be looking for?
What type of performance would I be looking at by going up or down from what I have now?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks for schooling a newbie!!
