My wife knows I love her no matter what she looks like.
Lets just say that she does not look that much like she did when we met anymore.
Buy her this and her teeth will look so bight you'll have to wear sunglasses.

I use them and the dentist said its ok.
PS, I'm a smoker so thats why I use them.
Let me say that my wife is an amazing woman. Even if she became disfigured I would see her the same. She just operates at a higher level than me and I love that about her.
Now that is pouring it on thick.![]()
yep I cant remember if I ate breakfast much less what it was but the wife remembers what shirt I was wearing the day we met.
I did make the mistake about 25 years ago with my ex wife.
she was 9 months pregnant, the hormones was a flippen, she asked Do I look fat?
I made the mistake of replying, no honey you look beautiful.
wow, last time I ever answered that question.
trust me guys there is NO correct anwser to that question other than I smell a gas leak in the garage and leave.
doesnt matter even if you dont have a garage.
NPD4432, FTD delivers.
If someone criticizes me they better be able to take it. I don't care if its my best friend, wife (which is my best friend), or anyone else they are getting it back just the same.
The love of my life has always been completely attractive to me. Whatever "flaw" might arise was not visible and is not to this day.
When she complained about her teeth being short (for example) I told her I loved them just the way they were; same for her weight, flat chest or whatever else she might worry was imperfect.
The perfection of her heart shines so bright I am blinded to trivial considerations.
Bad advice... you don't buy a fat girl an exercise bike... and you don't buy women with yellow teeth toothpaste...lol. It sounds crazy, but I have a friend that bought his wife a treadmill after she gave birth to their first born child.... that did not end well.
I've been married 4 years and I've got a good woman, but one wrong word can ruin a whole day... week... month... or year.![]()
very true, i was shopping one day and bought my wife some summers eve without her even having to ask....i'm still not sure why that didn't go over well?
But I did make a terrible mistake one day by saying she was acting like her mother...
Well first, let me say this. YIKES!!!Why did you make that comment?
Shame on you. I'm sure you didn't intend harm. Men are used to throwing insults back and forth with eachother and not thinking anything of it. Women are different in that respect.
Secondly, what others say and do is all about their own reality and how they see the world. It actually has little to do with the person they are insulting. Someone else might not even notice her teeth and see more positive attributes. Thats what she wants from you.
Keep in mind that the comment you made was a 'direct hit' not a general comment. It was an insult and not something you can take back. It had to do with the way she looks to you and every woman wants to be seen as beautiful in her mates eyes. When she isn't seen that way, her 'mind talk' and 'self accusations' go crazy.
Daycruiser had it right saying that people need to speak up for themselves and let their partner know that the comment really hurt them. However, sometimes you are in such shock you don't know what to say which is what probably happened to your wife.
You can try an apology starting with that you really didn't intend to hurt her feelings. That men are stupid that way, we just say whats on their mind without thinking sometimes.
The fact that it did hurt her feelings makes me think she is very conscience of the fact and maybe would like to have something done about it but has been afraid to ask. Most people are aware of their flaws but don't want to hear it from someone else.
Since its all out on the table now, pony up for teeth whitening and all will be good (or not).![]()
