International rules are just alittle different than ours.

yeah I agree completely, I like how the Goalie CLEARLY is interfered with in the crease forcing a stoppage and no call, but a goalie comes above the circles to play a puck and trips jumping over a sliding player and its a call.

Of course sides not withstanding it pretty clearly shows the difference in the rules, I'm in no way saying the calls are slanted, overall I think the calls on the tourney have been great with the exception on the number of Penalty shots called so far...

....whew, we have a few folks over so its a bit busy guys...but I am here. Sorry for the response delays.
No snow here today...a bit cold, but pretty clear and overall pretty nice.
Good game so far....great second period. OK, the best thing for the game is for the U.S to score quickly in the next period....I'm not trying for that.....just saying.
Oh yeah, I'm almost ready for my..................................2nd beer.

i dunno.......i think the usa player could have avoided the goalie if he didnt make his self faw down......i think that was the reason for the call....it could not have been a goalie interference....hw wasnt in the crease.....but i think a tripping was appropreate...

but i hope the us starts to play in the third......it is not out of reach yet....
