Yet another question... I appreciate everyone's help thus far.
My outdrive has become quite dirty during storage in my garage over the Canadian winter months. The yoke and the u-joints are now lightly covered with a mixture of regular dust and fine saw-dust. I was thinking of using an engine degreaser with a scrub brush to clean everything up and then just lubricating the surfaces and the u-joints with the Quicksilver Extreme Grease.
Is there a better way do to this or is this good to go?
Also... does anyone know if the Quicksilver Perfect Seal the same thing as the Evinrude gasket sealer? Are they interchangeable?
Thanks.
