Hi guys, I am getting ready to order Risers and Manifolds for my 1996 VP 4.3L and am having some sticker shock. Has anyone ever used a set of Mercury Risers and Manifolds and hooked them up to the Volvo y pipe. They look very close in size. The mercs are substantially less. Otherwise, anyone know where I can get a new set cheap?

If ya want to run Cadillac, you don't fix it with Chevy parts.
If you want to run a Volvo, you don't fix it with Mercruiser parts.

They are both cast iron parts, I was more curious if they would line up. As for Using Merc parts, if they are substantially less then I would have no problem using them.

Different angles, and different diameters, different mountings for things (depends on your particular engine)
Makes them a PITA to sell when you have a hybrid.

Do a search on the net for Fast Eddies Marine. They discount Volvo parts around 18% which is way more than most online dealers. They get drop shiped from Volvo directly.

I buy all my Volvo parts from them.
