V-lock Accessory mount

I was interested if any one here has experience with a V-lock (v-lock.com) mount. I was thinking of using it as a trolling motor mount. My steering linkage will not allow my trolling motor clearance to mount it on the transom. Is the V-Lock mount heavy enough?

I think one of the V-lock reps is active on that board and should be able to answer your questions, his handle is "mwrowan"

Well it seems worth the try to me. All indications are that the V-Lock mount is a heavy duty piece. I have one on order and it will be here this Tuesday. Lets hope its heavy duty, and not just a piece............more to follow.
