V6 Intake and Carb question

Will and intake and carb assy off a 1984 175 Mariner fit on a 1987 Merc 150? Seems to me they are the same. Would there be any Performance gains?

Lube, I would think it would... Basically the same, except for the jets, (I think). I had the same question about 200 carbs on a 175, but didn't get a diffinite answer...<br /><br />By the way, what temperatures are you reaching at WOT, Curising, Idle, etc... Unrelated topic, but curious...

Well, I bought it, Now all I have to do is play with it after I get it. Paid $100.00 for the complete set up right down to the air box.

Im not really sure when I am going to jump into it, it may even be a winter or early spring project. But I will surly let everyone know.
