I know why you posted that, and none of those scenarios applies to my engine. A couple are close, but none like it.

That's close, however, my vacuum is lower, and not all that steady. I will try the starter fluid spray idea, though to help me find if there is a leak.

Old school means you can remember driving in a rainstorm and punching the throttle to pass someone and your windshield wipers would slow down or even stop. The more miles on the engine the better the chance they would stop.
