Every time i go to my boat at the slip it is VERY hard to start... I go threw a Batt trying to get it to kick over.. I use the cold start to try also.. I know i have to replace the tigger becaus ethe wires are beat.. It has great compression, gets spark, and the gas is good.. It drives me crazy trying to start it.. Any tips on this would be great.. Should i go to a hotter plug?

I had the same problems until I did the link and sync listed on the FAQ. Starts great now.

Wilson, You need to check to see that your spark jumps a 1/4" gap with a blue snap. If it doesn't , you need to fix it. If the spark is OK, than your technique for starting the motor is faulty. Pump up the primer bulb, put the cold start lever all the way up. Hold the choke button and crank it until it starts.

If that desn't work pretty well, check the make sure the choke (really an enrichener) works to dump raw fuel into the two lower carbs.
